It was a beautiful day this past Saturday with the sun shining and temps near 50! We could not let a day like this pass us by! We bundled up, threw the sleds in the van and headed out to the sledding hills! When we arrived at the park we were the only ones there with every hill to ourselves. That soon changed. Within a half hour swarms of other people bombarded the park. It seems that our great idea caught on....
It is so much fun riding the sled down the hill!
But then you have to walk back up the hill.
You can even slide down the hill without a sled...
But be careful - you might lose your mittens!
Just put them back on and keep on going!
What a fun way to spend a warm, winter day!!

Sledding is so much fun. We are out of snow now, but I wish we could have snow instead of mud.

How wonderful! Glad you and the kids were able to get out of the house for a little while and enjoy the nice weather.
