Gingerbread House

Katriana's Kindergarten teacher is doing a lot of holiday activities with the kids. Yesterday all of the kids wore their pajamas to school and they had a Polar Express day. The teacher read the book and they did other polar express activites. Katriana came home with a little bell that you can only hear if you believe in Santa. (If you have read The Polar Express you will know what that means).

Today was gingerbread house day! All of the kids brought in some graham crackers and candies and constructed gingerbread houses. Katriana said she had a lot of fun and her shirt full of frosting can attest to that. Her house turned out very cute.

Tonight the Daisy Scouts, along with all of the other girl scouts, when caroling around post and then made Christmas cards to send to injured soldiers at the Landstuhl hospital. Next week at school they are having a holiday party and book gift exchange. So much holiday fun!!
